At Education Through Music–LA, my foundational strength was graphic design, which I leveraged to create cohesive, emotionally resonant visual assets across all platforms, elevating event visibility and maximizing fundraising efforts. This creative role was seamlessly integrated with strong project management, as I served in a critical, multi-faceted capacity as Designer, Volunteer Coordinator, and Admin Assistant, overseeing vital operational areas including recruitment, volunteer tasks, event organization, and print production.
High-Profile Fundraising Collateral & Event Identity
I collaborated closely with the Executive Director and Event Coordinator to design a cohesive visual identity for the Annual Benefit Gala. My role involved leading the creation of all event collateral, including invitations, programs, digital presentations, and signage, ensuring brand consistency and visual elegance to elevate the guest experience and reflect the mission of the nonprofit.
Thematic Promotional Design and Donor Engagement
I designed key promotional pieces, such as the flyer for the 4th Annual Music & a Makeover Benefit. I incorporated custom artistic elements—like an illustration of a dress made of musical notes—to visually tie together themes of music and empowerment, thereby increasing event visibility and attracting attendees to raise support for the programs.
Storytelling & Fundraising Impact
As the creative lead for ETM-LA’s testimonial videos and fundraising materials, I translated powerful student and community stories into compelling visual narratives. Partnering closely with internal stakeholders and program teams, I ensured each asset balanced emotional resonance with strategic clarity. From video direction to campaign collateral, every touchpoint was crafted to reinforce brand integrity, inspire donor confidence, and drive meaningful support for the organization’s mission.
